It is important to consider many things when purchasing a home. You want to make sure that the home makes sense for you and your family.
When thinking of buying a home, it’s not a bad idea to make a list of priorities. Is proximity to work, downtown, family, friends important to you? What school zone do you want your children to be in? What size house do you need? What type of plot do you want to be on (do you want a large lawn)? What kind of amenities are you interested in?
Once you have a list, start separating the items into two categories: minimums and wish of when your list is finished, inform your Realtor of what you are looking for so that they can find your dream home.
